Thank You For 50 Great Years

Back in 1956 a little corner cafe was converted into one of Provo's first pizza parlors. A local contest determined the name to be "Heaps of Pizza". The cozy atmosphere and delicious pizza pie made us an immediate hit with both Utah County locals and BYU students. Word spread about the great food and business began to boom.

Over the years we grew up. What was once a corner pizza parlor became the popular Brick Oven Restaurant. These changes stemmed from a growing community and increased popularity. In keeping with our commitment to fresh baked products, we changed our name to Brick Oven Restaurant. We serve the same delicious hearth baked pizza pie, homemade root beer and deep dish lasagna; but now we also have Chicago style deep pan pizza pie, Italian pasta dinners, our famous Market Room Buffet, Hearty sandwiches, fresh baked breads and desserts.

In 2006 we celebrated our first 50 years.  We are known throughout Utah and indeed throughout the world (due to the world wide alumni of Brigham Young University). We are the longest operating full-service restaurant in Provo.  We are conveniently located next to BYU and downtown Provo. Guests enjoy our convenient parking, fun, festive atmosphere and comfortable seating. We have been a favorite for 50 years and we plan to keep it that way.

We feature Full Service Family & Group Dining, convenient Pick Up and Delivery Service to Provo & Orem.  We are the largest full service restaurant in the valley seating over 400 Guests.  We operate on the basis of attraction rather than promotion.  We attract Guests by providing delicious food served fast in a clean, festive atmosphere.  We open Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for lunch and dinner.  We are closed Sundays.

We feature Brick Oven Friendly, ServFast Hospitality.  Groups come for lunch and dinner meetings as well as use our delivery services. Families Enjoy meals together and thousands of Guests celebrate their birthdays with us every year. The first place many students visit when arriving in Provo is Brick Oven Restaurant.

We take great pride in our Famous, Made From Scratch, Brick Oven Perfect Pizza Pie. Its the Best Tasting Pizza Pie in Utah. We begin making fresh dough at 6:00 a.m. each morning in our bakery. Our secret seasoned rich, thick tomato sauce is aged for two days. We custom make each pizza pie with generous portions of fresh Grade A toppings to your liking or offer a selection of Brick Oven Favorites and Gourmet Pizza Pie.  We use the finest produce, best quality meats and premium Mozzarella, Mild American Cheddar and Provolone cheeses with the perfect flavor, color, and oven melt. We feature our Traditional Hearth or Thicker Deep Pan Crusts. We bake our pizza pie at the perfect baking temperature for a little longer to marry the ingredients and bring out the full flavor and a golden crust.

 

 

 




Our Pasta Chef Makes Fresh Made Pasta and Sauces Every Day. Choose from many pasta shapes and any of our fresh made sauces at our Market Room Pasta Bar. Each pasta has a distinctive taste and when combined with your choice of sauces and cheeses, creates endless taste possibilities. We prepare creamy Alfredo, Meat & Mushroom, Marinara, Chicken White Sauce, Sausage Marinara, White Clam Sauce, Roasted Red Pepper, Chicken Cacciatore, Mushroom, Green Pesto and other sauces of the day. Our cheese bar features a selection of freshly grated Asiago, Mizithra, Romano and Mozzarella cheeses.

We feature Grandma's Homemade Chicken Noodle, Cream O' Broccoli soup & Boston Clam Chowder. We serve pasta dinners, lasagna, Calzone and a wide selection of hearty sandwiches. We bake a variety of cookies, brownies and desserts daily.

We feature "The Best Fruit & Salad Bar in Town".  We keep our 40 item deluxe fruit & salad bar well stocked and looking delightful with an array of healthy foods. Build your own creation of fresh fruit, vegetables, crab seafood, pasta salads, nuts and our ever popular Green Ranch dressing.

We've been making our Old Fashioned Draft Root Beer since 1956.   We make it in our Root Beer factory in the basement.  Guests enjoy it served in a Jumbo Frosted Mug.  We serve it free on Monday Night, after 5:00 p.m. with each Pizza Pie order.

Banquet & Party Reservations

Are you planning a family party or a business meeting?

If so, Brick Oven is the perfect choice. We have private seating for up to 18 in our Party Room; up to 34 in our Festival Room and up to 60 in our Banquet Room.

We take reservations for 8 or more anytime, except after 3:30 p.m. on Friday & Saturday evenings.  (We seat groups quickly on most occasions with our large 400 seating capacity.)
